Lake trout fishing
Although my first love is the river I do have fun tying crazy flies for still-water trouting. I recall that when I ran the Wednesday night dressing classes for local club members we used to create some pretty wacky flies over a glass or two of barley wine, yet these strange creations do catch good lake trout.
